- Gabriel - Gabriel - He tells great news; for example, telling Mary that Jesus will be born (Luke 1:26-38).
- Living Creatures -Living Creatures - These are described in Ezekiel and Revelation with wings and eyes that say godly things (Ezekiel 1:5-14, Revelation 4:16-8).

Jacob sees angels often in Genesis 28:10-22; he dreams of a ladder with angels going up and down, showing God’s presence. In Genesis 31:11-13, an angel in a dream tells him to leave Laban. In Genesis 32:1-2,he meets angels as he heads to Canaan, a sign of God’s protection.
When Israel went to the Promised Land, angels were used to guide the people. An angel moved behind the Israelites to block Egypt’s army during the confrontation in Exodus 14:19.

In Acts 5:19-20,an angel releases the apostles from prison and tells them to continue preaching.
In Acts 8:26, an angel sends Philip to meet with an Ethiopian who converts him.
